Explore the Wonders of the Park

The historical and cultural value of the territory, together with the natural and architectural emergencies, make the Mount Subasio Park the ideal place to practice countless outdoor activities, immersed in nature. From relaxing in nature to extreme sports, there are many itineraries and routes to experience innovative forms of experiential tourism.

The Project

Destination Subasio is a project born in 2020 to promote the territory of the Regional Park of Mount Subasio as a tourist destination.

It has been promoted by the municipalities within the protected natural area: Assisi, Spello, Nocera Umbra and Valtopina, formed in an association for the management of over seven thousand hectares of particular naturalistic and landscape value.

 

Project Goals

The Destinazione Subasio project is co-funded by the Umbria Region through calls for innovative management of regional parks. It aims to enhance the resources of the Park territory through tourist products linked, in particular, to relaxation in nature, sports and outdoor activities, united with the discovery of the history and villages that animate Subasio, entertainment and food and wine.
