The proposed excursion starts in Spello, known for its splendid medieval historical centre and the famous Corpus Domini flower festival. The town is located in the Umbrian Valley, on the southern slopes of the Subasio Massif. Initially, one follows the very pleasant Sentiero dell'Acquedotto (Aqueduct Path), totally immersed in the olive groves. For several kilometres it skirts the Roman work of hydraulic engineering that channelled water from the Fonte Canale spring towards the town of Spello. Once we reach the village of Collepino, we continue along the provincial road to abandon it and ascend along the ditch for path 352 towards San Silvestro al Subasio (not open to visitors).

Continue along path 352A to the Sportella pine forest - Camping Subasio, where the descent begins to the junction with path 350. Continue south and return to Spello with one of the most beautiful views of the village and the Umbrian valley.

The path is truly spectacular and pleasant in both directions, suitable for everyone, with no major difficulties and little altitude difference. Once back in Spello, you will have the opportunity to taste extra virgin olive oil, along with other excellent local products.
