Welcome! After your accommodation in a 3* Agritourism/Hotel, we suggest a free visit to Foligno, one of the most evocative and welcoming places in our area that is very often overlooked when organising a trip to Umbria.

If you visit Foligno, you cannot fail to go to the central square: Piazza della Repubblica, where, among other things, St Francis of Assisi began his conversion journey and donated his clothes for the first time. Here we find Palazzo Trinci, the palace in which the Trinci family, who ruled the city for over a century, resided. Also located in Piazza della Repubblica is the imposing cathedral of San Feliciano, patron saint and symbol of the city with breathtaking works and frescoes . Among the other sites of interest to visit in Foligno, one cannot miss the gigantic work inside the SS Trinità in Annunziata church. A contemporary art exhibition 'the cosmic magnet', so called, is a representation of a giant human skeleton, 24 metres long and 9 metres wide, a work that will leave you breathless!

Approx. 20:30 - rich welcome dinner in a farmhouse or restaurant selected by us - drinks included. After dinner, return to accommodation and overnight stay.

The Porta Consolare marks the entrance to the town of Spello, described by Julius Caesar as the "Splendidissima Colonia Julia." This enchanting village of Roman origin is counted among the most beautiful in Italy, thanks to its rich environmental, cultural and artistic heritage. The gate, dating back to the 1st century B.C., is flanked by three Roman funerary statues and represents one of the most significant testimonies to the town's glorious past. Spello still retains many traces of its Roman past, with ancient walls embracing the town and historical monuments such as the Propertius Towers, imposing structures protecting Porta Venere, another access point to the town. named after the Roman goddess of beauty and love. This monumental gate is one of the best preserved in Italy and offers a fascinating glimpse of Roman military engineering. One of Spello's treasures is the Church of Santa Maria Maggiore, reached by walking along charming alleys and ancient streets adorned with flowering balconies, which have become true symbols of the village. Inside the church is the Baglioni Chapel, decorated with a Deruta majolica floor and frescoes by the famous artist Bernardino di Betto, better known as Pinturicchio. The frescoes, painted between 1500 and 1501, depict biblical scenes and figures of saints with an incredible richness of detail and colour.

Later in the morning, we will enjoy a truly exciting activity: an authentic truffle hunt guided by an expert truffle hunter and his trusty dog. We will learn all about this treasure of the earth, its cultivation, its value, the different types of truffles that exist, the rules for hunting, the necessary tools, and lots of other important information. At the end, you will enjoy a rich tasting lunch in the forest with drinks included.

Afternoon free for individual visits, return to farm/hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.

Colazione in agriturismo / Hotel 3* e proseguimento con il nostro viaggio alla scoperta delle tradizioni culinarie umbre ed i sapori della nostra cucina. 

Questa mattina abbiamo pensato per voi un'attività speciale, che vi farà immergere ancora di più tra le tradizioni umbre: assisterete infatti a una lezione di cucina per la preparazione della torta al testo, una delle specialità gastronomiche più caratteristiche del nostro territorio. La nostra lezione di cucina, dedicata alla preparazione della “Torta al Testo“, è un’esperienza adatta a tutte le età, compresi i bambini che amano mettere le mani in pasta e scoprire nuovi sapori. Con la guida esperta dei nostri chef, imparerete ad impastare con le mani e preparerete un'ottima torta al testo che andremo successivamente a farcire con salumi prodotti in loco. Seguirà ovviamente una degustazione-pranzo con bevande incluse. 

Nel pomeriggio vi consigliamo una visita alla nostra meravigliosa Assisi: città chiave del percorso francescano, è nota per i suoi numerosi edifici e vicoli storici e i suggestivi luoghi di culto.

Buongiorno! Oggi, ultimo giorno della nostra avventura, abbiamo pensato di proporvi una visita libera a Perugia: il capoluogo umbro, dal patrimonio artistico, architettonico e culturale incommensurabile, è sicuramente una delle località più suggestive che il nostro territorio presenta.
