This package includes accommodation in a 3* hotel with breakfast included, a rich welcome dinner in a restaurant with drinks included, and two spectacular trekking experiences: Excursion to Mount Subasio from Spello to Assisi with lunch in Assisi in a local restaurant and Trekking to discover the springs, waterfalls. and caves of the Menotre Valley with lunch in Pale and a visit to Rasiglia with a guide.

BOOKING METHODS

Request confirmation of availability of services and payment of a deposit of 30% of the total amount of the package upon confirmation and payment of the remaining balance 25 days prior to arrival. For bookings made during the 25 days prior to arrival, the full amount of the package will be requested upon confirmation.

TREKKING ON MOUNT SUBASIO FROM SPELLO TO ASSISI WITH LUNCH

From Spello to Assisi, trekking on Monte Subasio, a wonderful scenic route to admire hermitages, unspoilt nature , breathtaking green landscapes and medieval villages. Breakfast at your accommodation and departure for Spello, a beautiful ancient village. Meeting with the hiking guide who will accompany you on this excursion. We will set off along a route of extraordinary beauty that connects the historic centre of Spello with that of Assisi, crossing Mount Subasio, the sacred mountain of St. Francis, amidst archaeology, spirituality, unique landscapes, and natural and historical contexts. Along the route there will be splendid views, some of them of cultivated land with olive groves, others offering enchanting views of Spello and the Umbrian Valley with its villages. Amidst medieval villages, olive groves, forests and spiritual paths linked to the life and work of St Francis and St Clare, we will continue along the road towards the city of peace, listening to the interesting information provided by the guide, who will tell you not only about the geological features of interest, but also about the fauna and flora of the area. Lunch in a local restaurant in Assisi after the excursion - drinks included.

TREKKING TO THE MENOTRE VALLEY - LUNCH - VISIT TO RASIGLIA

After breakfast we head for the Menotre valley, just 20 minutes from Assisi. We will visit with a guide a hermitage protected by the rugged rock, an awe-inspiring sanctuary with breathtaking views. Together with the guide, we will have a beautiful trekking experience of about 2 hours where we will reach springs, waterfalls and caves. Together we will reach the village of Pale where a delicious lunch with specialities of our land awaits you in a local restaurant.

Umbria is also the region of ancient villages. On the second leg of this excursion we will visit one of the jewels of the region: Rasiglia, the village of torrents. The town, which retains the typical characteristics of a medieval village by gathering in an amphitheatre-like structure, is famous for its springs: strolling through the charming alleys of the town centre, it is impossible not to be enchanted by the streams that flow through the town, making it unique and fascinating.

Return to the hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
