A place of spirituality, but also of art, nature and history without equal. You will visit the Basilica of San Francesco, and the places where the fiction "Che Dio ci Aiuti" was filmed.

In the afternoon, you will enjoy a carefree ride in a horse-drawn carriage to discover the organic philosophy of the vineyards; an experience that combines the charm of rural life in the past with a modern BIO consciousness geared towards the production of top-quality food in full respect of natural resources. At the end, a rich tasting of organic wines from this wonderful land accompanied by a platter of local and organic products.

Water is a characteristic element of every trip to Umbria. Those who organise an excursion to the Marmore Waterfalls know this well: a wonder of nature that, thanks to a drop of 165 metres divided into 3 jumps, is one of the highest waterfalls in Europe. You will start from the Upper Belvedere, choosing one of the most suitable paths for you, and arrive at the Lower Belvedere where you can relax with a view of the waterfalls.

In the afternoon we depart for Spoleto, a wonderful town full of things to see, as witnessed by the beautiful Roman Theatre, along with tastefully designed palaces and squares. A splendid walk along Corso Garibaldi is embellished by the Torre dell'Olio (Oil Tower), so called because boiling oil used to be thrown from here to defend against attacks and now incorporated into Palazzo Vigili. In Piazza della Libertà there is also the Roman theatre and the archaeological museum. The cathedral, however, is the main attraction of Spoleto. We can visit all the sites of "Don Matteo".

Dopo la nostra colazione partiamo per Perugia!Le infinite storie di Perugia e dei suoi abitanti, delle sue strade, dei suoi scorci e dei suoi palazzi, hanno lasciato traccia fra le vie del centro storico e nelle opere d’arte che ne impreziosiscono i musei, dagli etruschi ai romani, fino ai maestri del medioevo e del rinascimento. Perugia è il capoluogo umbro che rappresenta molte città in una sola, tutte affascinanti e tutte piene di storia.Fra i tanti monumenti, incredibili opere d’arte, resti etruschi e il verde della campagna. Il Simbolo di Perugia per antonomasia è probabilmente la Fontana Maggiore con le sue vasche marmoree decorate da bassorilievi scolpiti. C’è poi l’arco etrusco, enorme porta di accesso all’antica Perusia con blocchi in travertino. Tra gli edifici da ammirare vi è poi il Palazzo dei Priori (oggi sede del Municipio), il palazzo del Capitano del Popolo o di Giustizia, il palazzo della vecchia Università, palazzo degli Oddi Marini Clarelli, Palazzo Sorbello, palazzo della Penna, nonché la Rocca Paolina. Perugia è poi una delle città principali di Umbria Jazz – dove peraltro è stato ambientato il film “Quando arrivano le ragazze?” di Pupi Avati, incentrato proprio sul jazz – e del cioccolato. A Perugia infatti ogni anno, grazie soprattutto alla perugina, si celebra l’Eurochocolate. Pranzo libero e pomeriggio dedicato interamente allo shopping in corso Cavour. Rientro in agriturismo, cena e pernottamento.

Partirai la mattina per una giornata indimenticabile in mezzo alla natura, destinazione: Castelluccio di Norcia. Il tetto degli Appennini e il cuore dei Monti Sibillini, questo è Castelluccio, inserito dal quotidiano britannico “The Independent” tra i 23 luoghi più incredibili ma meno conosciuti del mondo…non fartelo sfuggire!  La piana – chiamata Pian Grande –  che porta a Castelluccio è una delle cose più belle mai viste. Non solo per il periodo della “fioritura delle lenticchie ”, quando cioè a giugno e luglio tutta la valle sboccia con mille colori e mille atmosfere, ma in senso assoluto. Attraversa la piana di Castelluccio – a piedi, in macchina, a cavallo o in bicicletta – regala emozioni straordinarie. Pranzo libero Nel pomeriggio si parte per Foligno, una cittadina inspiegabilmente sottovalutata ogni volta che si organizza un viaggio in Umbria. Foligno è una bellissima cittadina colorata e vivace situata in una posizione “strategica” al centro dell’Umbria che a differenza di tanti altri borghi dell’Umbria, non è arroccata su una collina, ma è in pianura e ricorda per questo quasi un comune della “bassa padana” (ma non dirlo alla gente di Foligno che per loro è “LU CENTRO DE LU MUNNU”!). La vita cittadina, si concentra tutta attorno al Duomo di San Feliciano – un po’ come nella Brescello di Don Camillo e Peppone –  attorno al quale appunto pullulano caffè storici, localini e taverne con sfondo archi, cortili e palazzi. Dopo essere entrati all’interno delle mura cittadine, sarà naturale seguire le antiche porte e percorrere il corso principale di Foligno fino appunto al  Duomo, che è in un inusuale stile neoclassico-barocco e si trova in Piazza della Repubblica. Foligno è famosa per lo shopping e i bei negozi! ⭐ Rientro in agriturismo, cena e pernottamento.

After breakfast today we leave for Lake Trasimeno, for Umbria also has a blue heart: the largest lake in Central Italy. A splendid stretch of water, surrounded by stunning natural landscapes, ancient villages and historic residences, Lake Trasimeno is home to three islands: Isola Maggiore, Isola Polvese and Isola Minore (a private island that cannot be visited). Definitely a place of great beauty and excellent opportunities for fun and recreation.

Free lunch. We can take advantage of the sunny day to stretch out on a beach after visiting the many villages that surround the waters of Lake Trasimeno.

You will leave in the morning for Valtopina , where Massimo and his dog will be waiting for you; you will walk through the forest on nature trails where you can breathe peace, relaxation and nature, and search for black truffles. The union Umbria-truffle has always been inseparable: our territory, which can be imagined as an immense truffle ground, offers a very rich variety of truffles, white truffles, prized black truffles , from the most renowned, to the summer truffle , each with its own unmistakable scent, flavour and appearance. Walk along the paths until you reach a spot of meadow open to the valley, where a barbecue has been set up amidst the greenery and you can sample Umbrian specialities based on fresh truffles (bruschetta and sliced meats, cheeses, wines, etc.).

In the afternoon, departure for Rasiglia, the village of streams. Just like in a fairy tale, like in a nativity scene, the enchanted village of Rasiglia looks like a painting. Perched on a mountain in the Menotre Valley, Rasiglia is known as 'the little Umbrian Venice' or 'the village of streams', which flow through the cobbled streets and stone houses. Rasiglia recounts a past of weavers, dyers, carpenters, whose tradition is still alive and well in the village, among ancient wash houses, windmills still in operation and historic workshops. Also worth visiting are the ruins of the Morro Castle, which once belonged to one of the village's most prominent families, and the Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie, inside which frescoes dating back to the 15th century can be admired. Everything is framed by the flow of crystal-clear spring waters that gather in small streams, ponds and waterfalls, a world of other times in which time is marked by the gentle flow of water.

Dopo la colazione partenza per Orvieto, una cittadina di straordinaria bellezza sia perché è arroccata in alto ed è per questo apparentemente irraggiungibile, sia perché offre delle bellezze architettoniche tali da renderla un’attrazione irrinunciabile anche per chi è solo di passaggio sull’autostrada. Da visitare c’è soprattutto il Pozzo di San Patrizio e il Duomo, ma in realtà è tutto il centro storico cittadino a dover essere ammirato nel suo complesso per la eleganza. Orvieto è famosa per i suoi vini e salumi tipici, per questo è consigliabile una sosta per una degustazione DOC nelle molteplici trattorie . Solo a 18 km da Orvieto, con un piede già in Lazio, non possiamo non inserire una sosta a Civita di Bagnoregio la città che muore , un borgo delizioso che regala il fascino dell’inaccessibile.⭐ Rientro a casa con l’Umbria nel cuore.
