The meeting with the guide is at the Matteotti car park, opposite the cash desks. We start by visiting the Roman amphitheatre, reused in medieval times for residential purposes. We continue with a visit to the Cathedral of San Rufino before arriving at the Basilica of Santa Chiara with the Saint's tomb and the San Damiano Crucifix. From here we walk up to Piazza del Comune with the splendid façade of the Temple of Minerva. The tour ends with a detailed visit of the marvellous Basilica of San Francesco, a stunning example of medieval art.
